To xylowave to answer your questionyes it is the one and only Stevie wonder on the harmonica with the melody of Michael Jackson baby be mine song from his thriller albumIt doesn't mean that the Manhattantransfer are anyless of a group because they got a little help fromother artists they help each otherout every now and then which is a good thing

"Spice of Life" s very very similar to Michael Jackson's "Baby Be Mine" from the "Thriller" album. Both songs were written by Rod Temperton.and recorded about the same time. I am not sure which one was recorded and released first.

-- Same for me with Hall & Oates. 'Sara Smile' was the song. I swore up and down they were a couple of bruthas until l saw them on Soul Train. Ooops!! : )

I was five when this song came out. This song was heavily played on RnB radio stations, so naturally I assumed that they were black. Boy was I surprised when they played on Soul Train. Almost thirty years later this is still one of the tightest songs ever produced.
