Errr No! Just not where you're looking for it. It exists everywhere....with ignorance. As I said you will find what you want, where you want, because you want to. But don't assume it's everywhere! Oh please..........grow up and go live. You only get one go at this and you want to waste it. Stop judging and assuming, far better to assume it's not the norm and ignore those that don't. I keep commenting because you and others here staunchly deny this possibility of prejudice even exists or could exist. I do not believe what I'm saying is the sure and certain truth, or that it's real at all. I'd gladly be wrong, I wish I was. I didn't come up with the idea of the negative effect on black women The Clark Doll Experiment (1939) did. Nor did I come with the central topic explained by Peggy McIntosh in Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack.

No but most are subconsciously offending black women according to you. And you get it now! Your view, your perspective. The problem with looking for things that aren't there is you'll find it if you want to, and you do. Doesn't mean it is either! Your doing it again. No of course all white people aren't racist. But an essential aspect of racism is power and in most situation people of color lack influence to abuse power. A different perspective on race and racial issues is not truth, it is merely a perspective. Damning with faint praise is still insulting even if it isn't loud and obvious. I don't think the creator of this video is a villain, or honestly a racist, or a bad person but that doesn't mean this isn't a benign form of unconscious prejudice.

No you are quite right, failure to include people of color is not a instant sign of racism but that also doesn't make it not offensive. There should be no need for tokens that there is speaks for itself. Most things done by white people imo are unthinkingly offensive to black women: who are America's leading ladies, 1st beneficiaries of 19th Amendment, 1st to b recognized for achievements as women etc... Sorry I make life so hard, must b tough living under the specter of racism all the time.
