It took me awhile to realize that, but now i'm on the good side of metal! I agree with what your saying, honestly how do they (Slipknot) stand out? Their masks, that's how I discovered them, its all a marketing thing to catch peoples attention.

I dont necessarily hate slipknot, but they are certainly not the biggest innovators ever. Same goes for CC, i don't hate it, in fact hammer smashed face is really good. But these bands are not my cup of thee. The Only band i despise is Messhugah. Damn i hate that band Black metal however is my lifeblood. Emperor, Enslaved, burzum, early Dimmu, windir, Darkthrone, Celtic Frost and so on.

I totally agree! Joey Jordison is an amazing drummer. He has gone on tour with Satyricon and played shit that FROST has written. FROST is one of the best black metal drummers to ever live!
