This is a very good song - a lot more "Mersey" sounding than the Liverbirds other stuff that tends to be more R&B. Great sound by Pamela and the girls. Thanks for posting.

Such a great song. A cover of this was used for some anti-depressant commercial a few years ago, that was closer to the Shebrews version.

The truth is, if not for being female, they were mostly just another cover band, and a not particularly adept one at that. Ironically, "Leave All Your Old Loves In The Past," one of their few originals, was far more interesting than any of their so-so copycat jobs. In fact, I happen to think it is easily one of the best English pop songs of that era, and that's saying a hell of a lot. There's a very nice cover of it by a band called the Shebrews, but it's the original that is the masterpiece.

I listened to this song here in Youtube for the first time and I think it's one of the best sixties hits I ever heard. How such a wonderful song didn't became a chart blockbuster in Germany and England?

I saw this band whilst I was in The Royal Tank Regiment in Germany, in a little hall in a village called Bergen Nr Celle, wonderful.
