soo true. but it all comes down to who is paying your bills. these record labels now a days are paying out more than they ever did back then. So ppl now are just record label puppets. they do what they want and what they think sells. sad thing is it works. they make millions more than most classic hip hop artists ever did, and they barely even have to try. they just put on an image and market themselves like crazy. the music lacks substance but for some reason its selling like crazy.
