I just figured Europeans are smarter, cooler ppl. Yeah american shit core metal sucks. I guess the 80s here were ok, but nothing on the level of the great metal in Europe now. Look on the bright side, we have a front row view at all US metal shows, and now trend mongers who like metal to be cool. Of course if you play metal there is few upsides to being in the States.

@Vrals597 Eh, that's partially true... Granted, it's only partially true if you consider hardcore and deathcore and that pig squealing nonsense as metal. Which I don't, so I agree with you. However, America does come out with some of the greatest soft rock and alternative rock... And the good hip-hop stems from here, too. I got a huge taste of music. XD

Why does it seem like that most of the metal that is popular today comes out of Europe, I mean if you look at it all of the rap/hip hop comes of the US while all of the current day metal/rock stuff seems to come out of Europe
