Its got a drug induced violent vibe feel which I intended to have. Some felt that it was a little too heavy for the Kingpins but at the time I wrote it, "Heroin chique" and gang culture was becoming a thing in Montreal, Hell Jesse (our trumpet player) Radz was nearly killed at a St-Laurent bar by a bunch nazi skinheads and this was in Montreal not Berlin or Vallstok mind you.

This was the first Kingpins song I ever heard (on all skanadian club vol 3), and I think it is my favorite of their songs. Great tune.

we just had Montreal's first ever ska fest, and it was fabulous... it reminded me a lot of the good old days... :-) there's something in the air... thanks for the nice comments skaface... this is Lorraine (tenor sax and back vox on this tune).. i sang the rocksteady version of this song at the skafest with Chris Murray!! sweeeet...
