Ryan Matticola, my new favorite brother from anohter mother, can't tell you how good it is to hear stuff like this. Never would have if not for you. They left it off all the albums. What a mistake. But you came through for us when Jimi's manager and the record company denied us. Hail Ryan and the bootleggers. Again many thanks.

Cool capture and post. Hendrix wails on guitar but he sure can't sing it.

JImi was so wonderful to all his friends -- Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Jeff Beck, BillyGibbons, Rory Gallagher, Jack Cassidy, Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, Stevie Winwood, Dave Mason , Joni Mitchell, Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter, B.B. King, Steve Stills, etc.Dylan used to GIVE him unfinished songs.Cream wrote "Sunshine Of Your Love" as a tribute -- and he would play it often, in tribute to them.Paul got him booked at Monterey on his word alone -- and Jimi opened with "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" for him at the Savill Theatre 2 days after the record dropped. What a wonderful time -- they all were sharing EVERYthing - and having an absolute blast. So, yeah -- "Mr.Fantasy" is another case in point.....Jeff Beck, in an interview several decades back, said that he missed Jimi MORE than when he had passed -- and he did not think that it was possible......Blessings, everyoneL
