Adam & The Ants the next Beatles :D What an unnecessarily awkward interview and one that probably didn't endear them to the American audience. I expected to roll my eyes at the typical inane questions interviewers come out with but I thought the questions were far better than the answers given.

Nice find - never seen this clip before. I was always frustrated that Weller lacked the sharp social comment in interviews that was in his songs and lyrics. The questions asked by Tom Snyder were ripe for some scorching comment but Weller did a good impression of Beavis and Butthead instead. I'm a big fan of the Jam and Paul's solo stuff but I say it as it is.
