Die hard Bruce fan here and The Gaslight/Horrible crowes are some of the only modern music I listen to. I would probably crap my pants with excitement if they did a Darkness on the Edge of Town cover. Brian managed to make Teenage dream sound good in a cover so he is capable of anyhting because that song is dogshit.

Hmm. I love how he uses the tomb metaphor in so many of his songs. He's a creating a theme and a history with the image. The kind of history (I'm sure) he felt when he thought of it. It's like dropping a gem when he uses it now. Think of the function of a tomb, and the function of lips. My, the poetry of that.

mm, when i heard Man in Black by Cash i thought "damn, the bouncing souls should cover it" and maybe 2 years after that they released that same cover. it was amazing. now i think the Horrible Crowes shouls release "NEBRASKA EP" :) an all Bruce tribute. that would be amazing. please do it brian. please.
