Surrender into the night,

Silently take my hand.

Nobody knows what's inside us,

Nobody understands.

They handed us down a dream,

To live in this lonely town.

But nobody hears the music,

Only the echo of a hollow sound.

Where do the children go,

Between the bright night and darkest day?

Where do the children go,

And who's that deadly piper who leads them away?

Together we make our way,

Passengers on a train.

Whisper a secret forever,

Promises in the rain. No, whoa...

We're leaving it all behind,

While castles are falling down.

We're going where no one can find us.

And if there's a heaven,

We'll find it somehow.

Where do the children go,

Between the bright night and darkest day?

Where do the children go,

And who's that deadly piper who leads them away?

Oh, we're going where no one can find us.

And if there's a heaven,

We'll find it somehow.

Where do the children go,

Between the bright night and darkest day?

Where do the children go,

And who's that deadly piper who leads them away?

Where do the children go,

(Where do the children go?)

Between the bright night and darkest day?

(Bright night and darkest day.)

Where do the children go,

(Where do the children go?)

And who's that deadly piper who leads them away?

(Oooh)

Where do the children go,

(Where do the children go?)

Between the bright night and darkest day?

(Bright night and darkest day.)

Where do the children go,

(Where do the children go, I wanna know?)

And who's that deadly piper who leads them away?

(Away, who leads them away?)

Where do the children go?

(Bazilian/Hyman)

I was still cutting my teeth on drums back then, and bought 'Nervous Night' and learned EVERY song on the album. This one was the most emotional and intense for me. I still get massive shills when I play this one on drums. I bought a 500 dollar Paiste 2002 24" crash for the huge crash sound in "All you zombies" and only for that song, and still have it on my drumkit, and it is the identical cymbal to the one used in that song. This thing is LOUD and sustains FOREVER, and also made me switch to all Paiste--the best cymbals ever in my opinion. The meaning of this song is really heartbreaking though. But it is still a beautiful tone either way. Patty Smyth did an awesome job on vocals. I still get excited when I just sit and play the whole album---it is one of the best rock albums ever, and that says alot! Rick "C-6" Delair.

*More Than 200 Nigerian Schoolgirls Still Missing*ReutersPosted: 06/20/2014 9:34 am EDTABUJA, June 20 (Reuters) - More than 200 of the Nigerian schoolgirls abducted by Islamist militant group Boko Haram are still missing, an official said on Friday, more than two months after a brazen and brutal kidnapping in the northeast. So far, 57 of the girls have been reunited with their families while 219 are still unaccounted for, Brigadier General Ibrahim Sabo, the chairman of the government's fact-finding committee on the kidnapping, said in a statement.Boko Haram militants on April 14 stormed a secondary school in the village of Chibok, about 150 km (93 miles) from Maiduguri - the cradle of the insurgency, packed the teenagers onto trucks and disappeared into the border area near Cameroon. The attack shocked Nigerians, who have grown used to hearing about atrocities in an increasingly bloody five-year-old Islamist insurgency in the north. Easily their best song. Patty Smyth was huge in the 80's, thanks to her for her part in this tune. Gives me chills every time I hear it.
