Really good song I heard it on the BBC Radio 2 Hollies Story this evening. Many contemporary groups owe a huge debt of thanks for the inspiration given by the Hollies over six decades.

I really loved the Hollies with Allan Clarke. I own most of the albums they put out, and there is at least one shining moment on each of them. But the stuff they've release in the 2000s is dreadful. "Staying Power" put me off from buying anything the new Hollies lineup puts out. This song just reinforces that there is no magic in this band for me anymore.
