Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee...."The Hard Corps" were a Rap-Metal band formed in early 1991. THC riding on the newly discovered musical hybrid sled established in earlier years by the pairing of such acts as Run DMC with Aerosmith and later yet, Public Enemy with Anthrax. The CD, "Def Before Dishonor" was released in late 1991 on Interscope Records....and garnered immediate Media attention because of it's Producer, Jam Master Jay (of Run D.M.C.) piloting the project. Here is the video for the lead-off single "Hard Corps". As far as research indicates, this was the only CD and video from this band. Enjoy, Placebo.

Thanks for posting this! I saw them in Nashville at the 2 Live Crew show (before the show was cut short). Way ahead of their time..

kelly, all these years later, one of my favorite & best memories of nashvl is when i saw Mr. Zero. first time was at a writer's night @ elliston sq (does cult "electric" ring a bell? evrytime i hear that album, i'm back in nashvl) & it was such an incredible & unexpected surprise when MZ took the stage! never saw any band like that in nashvl & still haven't. wish MZ had lasted longer & wish there were some recordings. do you have any video or audio from Mr Z? would love to see. good times

Hello Kelly! I saw HC in Savannah, Georgia at Congress Street Station. I think you had just been dropped by Interscope (suckers) and played two new songs for us: "Finger To The 40" and "Don't Be Afraid To Funk." Good times.

Yes Jimi, this is still one of my favorite all time shows I ever saw. I saw you guys in Nashville. Unfortunately it was the last time I saw 24/7. Strength is still in my top 5 albums of all time as well. I have all your albums, and to be honest, I was disappointed when P and Anthony were no longer in the group. When I heard This Is...and Strength.... I was BLOWN AWAY! To me, That Is...24/7 Spyz. Wish I could've seen the re-union. Would love to see you again no matter what line-up. Much love 24/7

One of my favorite shows EVER!!!!! Follow For Now, Hard Corps and 24/7 Spyz. I'm from Nashville and hung with the Hard Corps guys. Waaayyyy before their time, based on trends that happened much later. It's a damn shame that these guys were one and done. At the time, to me, this was the next big thing. With FFN, Hard Corps, and 24/7 Spyz. They were the next big thing...However, OTHER groups got the credit for it. Kind-of sux.
