After Chad "Shakin' All Over" Allan left the band in 1966, Burton Cummings, Randy Bachman, Jim Kale and Garry Peterson soldiered on. They released the single "His Girl" in December of '66 and by February of '67 the song was #45 on the British charts and #19 in their native Canada.
