I've chilled at the Outhouse. My boy Bryan (Homaside) who used to do some of the artwork for their flyers, turned me onto them in around 95-96. I still have a copy of Mystik Journeymen's Walkman Invaders ON TAPE! This is 4 track shit..Not really a lot going on here.. The Bass, and Piano hold down 90% of this track. You said yourself LL are some talented dudes. So if you don't know what it's from, what makes you think it's not original? Find out the sample and I'll gladly admit being wrong..

You're not paying attention. Living Legends are talented dudes. That said they sample A LOT! Once read on a forum that Dr. Dre didn't sample...LOL. Dr Dre is a huge sampler. Struggle Baby is mostly sample. Follow me...you'll learn something.

The difference between my comment and yours is I said "it's PROBABLY" and you said "it's DEFINITELY". I never said it absolutely WAS ORIGINAL. And since you are the one that insisted it's ABSOLUTELY NOT original the burden of proof lies on you my friend. My proof is the fact that they rarely used musical samples. Also the fact that no credits are given to any other artists outside LL on the album insert, (which if it was a sample is illegal) lends me to believe it is an original piece. PEACE.

Lol its not hard to tell if a song is sampled not claming I'm a super dope producer but usually another producer can tell, and yes The Grouch samples all of the time look it up yourself man he admits it. He produces his own beats does not mean he plays every instrument you should look up the equipment he uses i mean i have. When you are an independent artist and do not work for a major label you do not have to clear or give credit for any sample.

Really? So then you can tell me the song it's sampled from, right? Otherwise you are just assuming. If he used someone else's music and did not give credit he could face serious lawsuits. And since there are no credits given to another artist on the album insert, one would have to assume that it is original. If you can provide proof of a sample in this track I would humbly consent.
