SUCH A GREAT BAND! Agree 'Scenes...' is a masterpiece. So great to see this surfacing. Robert Smith had a hand in helping them i seemed to recall? Also they were I think the only other band to sign to Fiction records with The Cure.

Went to see Catherine Wheel play at the Tivoli in Buckley (North Wales) supported by God Machine. Must've been early 90's. GM Blew my mind. I'd never heard of this band before, but Catherine wheel were shite afterwards..literally nothing to offer in comparison. The lead singer i recall, asked for no lights except one red bulb and the band were so loud.., so good..it was without doubt one of the best gigs I've ever seen and I've been a massive fan ever since.
