I don't have any problem with women dressing and acting sexy on stage, but I think mrsolofeo does have a point here. In too many cases these days, tits/ass end up being the whole point, not a little ingredient. For example in metal we have ladies like Sharon Den Adel, who wears revealing clothes, but never acts trashy and there is Butcher Babies, who even call themselves slutmetalband and act like sluts on stage. IMO BB is shaming themselves and making it harder for other ladies in metal.

Regardless of music genres, women performers make a conscious decision on how they will present themselves onstage. Beyonce, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Lady GaGa knowingly cultivate a trashy image because that's what sells. And, ultimately it is a reflection of themselves and what they value. Anneke could come onstage half naked if that were her choosing --she's better looking than most women -- but she's above such cheap, sleazy displays, and her fans would not accept her if she acted that way.
