omg...I'm watching them on PBS right now. They STILL sound great. I remember this song...and hearing some of their other songs...even tho I was so very young. My 2 oldest siblings were teens. I still know a lot of songs all the way thru. What a blast ...then and now. OH...and these guys and others...dressed alike LONG before the Beatles showed up. Sorry Francisco...but you must be too young to know anything. *grins*

Um, the Beatles started in the 60's...They're first single came out in '62. They didn't come to America until around '64. There's no way The 4 Preps could have copied them. Your comment is illogical.

I LOVE THIS SONG!! I was a Gidget too!!! Only I lived in Oklahoma, but born in San Francisco!! No boys looked at skinny, mini me!! I got to meet Moon Doggie as i worked backstage for him and asked him to say "hey, Gidge!" He said, "no." It broke my heart. Before he left late that evening the last thing he said to me in front of everyone, was "hey, Gidge!". I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE HIM!!!!!!!! ~ Margaret Sisk
