The female bass player sounds like principal Skinner. Weird.

Isn't that the guy from the Lavern and Shirley show?

These guys are geniuses. I believe they were SNL writers? Isn't that Lenny from Laverne & Shirley? Was Guest in The Long Riders?

The folk history of Start Me Up. Pete Seeger did this in Providence, RI in 1958, right? Kum-ba-yah!

Conan was intimidated by Harry and rightfully so. Many people forget that they worked together on writing for the Simpsons. Harry caught him off-guard to make a point. Probably the same point he was making between 1991 and 1993 that Conan fails ( to this day ) to pick up on. you don't want to get into a pissing contest with Harry on most any subject, really.. He is a 'Pandora's box' of knowledge. :)

-After the big applause at 0:30, Harry gives a very genuine "thank you!". -The "solo" at 1:00 is insane. All of them are really talented but Guest is off the charts. He would have had a great musical career had he taken that path.

"...it was originally called Old Purple Haze..."

3:51 Mckean does the awkward yet subtle head down, chin-into-neck smile; body language showing how uncomfortable he still is with his bandmate's gender-swap. ...The little things that make this trio fucking genius.
