If I'm not mistaken this is a live radio performance. And it's nicely stripped down. Pink Floyd was never raw. This feels raw. Wayne is a glib and delightful phony (Who else could write 'Do You Realize' as a joke?) and he does a great job here. Wish they completed the whole thing.

Finally these are the only comments i have read that are actually recognising the talent of this band.I have been an avid fan of Pink Floyd for as long as i can remember the early years and the more modern stuff .The Flaming Lips are a light of hope that music is not dead i.e. ONE EFFING DIRECTION!!!!!!!!. I used to be as narrow minded about Pink Floyd covers aswel as any other cover but i heard the Flaming Lips cover album of Dark side of the moon today (bold move i do say so myself) but i think they pulled it off an absolute quality twist on a personal and worldwide favorite

A blues rock band, at times psychedelic, that a lot of people consider to be of exceptional quality, while for others they do not do anything. In my case, I love Piper, Dark Side, and Wish You Were Here, but otherwise most of their stuff doesn't really do it for me. Musical taste is musical taste. Everyone's taste is different. People should respect that fact.
