I remember seeing the Fab Four in Liverpool at the Mathew street festival and looking at them on a public stage from a few hundreds at the back of a huge crowd , it was like looking at and hearing the original JPG&R , very surreal and lovely after

Gavin, who plays George here, met Paul McCartney during a tribute festival in Liverpool involving many tribute bands honoring George Harrison shortly after he passed away. Paul said that George would've loved what they were doing playing his music. Nobody expected Paul to even show up, but he did. I think he probably felt like it really was a tribute, done in loving memory of George, or in this case the band. It's not a replacement, but it lovingly keeps the spirit of the Beatles alive

I can see how it may be kinda weird to see people trying to look act and sing like yourself if you are a Beatle like Paul. It's also probably a bit cheesy to hear a cover after hearing and seeing the original Beatles; because of course nothing will ever be as good as the original. Regardless of how odd tribute bands may seem , to some people it's as close as seeing the Beatles as they'll ever get. It's meant to be an appreciative, loving tribute to the Beatles.

As for the music, they are right on. And Ardy does a good job sounding like Paul. What's really mind blowing is just how well the others harmonize for this song. That's the one sticking point for me as I listen. They nailed the harmonies dead on.

I have seen the them 4 times now in New Hampshire and we are going again this year. They are the best of the best. If you're a Beatles fan you have to see these guys live they are worth the admission.

I saw them in February and July 2013 and am going again in September 2014. They are mind-blowing awesome! Someone asked Paul McCartney if he knew about The Fab Four. He said he did. They asked what he thought about them. He said, "They're better than we were".He was right. The Beatles stopped touring in 1966. One reason was that they didn't have the on-stage technology to recreate the sounds they made in the studio. The Fab Four does have that technology and they have perfected it.
