This was from a benefit for The Dave Clark Five's Mike Smith, put together by Paul Shaffer, which also featured The Zombies, Billy J Kramer, Denny Laine and a reuniting of Peter & Gordon. Fab Jack Petruzzelli couldn't be present that night, so we carried on with Rob Arthur substituting (playing bass here). The energy in the room was electric!

Saw you guys in Liddypool lots of times. Love you guys. I'm now living in the U.S. Would love to have y'all play at FreedomFest sometime on Ft. Polk. LA. Hit me up and let's make it happen :)

Here it is. Professionalism covering genius. I'm hugely impressed that the Fab Faux can replicate the spirit of Tomorrow Never Knows; it's so far past what I can do that I'm completely baffled. But John Lennon's original was even further past anything that had been heard before. Lord, we need them both; the genius and the artist.

To think that this was written almost 50 years ago.

It's amazing that what was once only possible with the latest studio innovations is now so perfectly re-created on stage with commercially available effects. The level of musicianship is equally impressive. One of the reasons the Beatles stopped touring was because they couldn't do this onstage. Nonetheless, it seems more like an old carnival organ than a band. McCartney could certainly put such a show together now, yet chooses not to. It just ain't live.

What's really amazing when you think about it, is the caliber of musicians and the work that goes into reproducing what four guys from Liverpool did on some rather rudimentary recording gear.

+Goosemeyer If you watch the Revolver section on anthology George states that it could be done today with modern technology.

I lost my comment because when the song ended it started another and I lost all I wrote! Guess I should have wrote it in Word, then use Copy, Paste. Oh well-"Like"!

I agree. George Harrison stated this song couldn't be played live. He underestimated technology and the degree of love people have for their music.

Wow!!!! Considering all the tracking that George Martin had to do to create that psychedelic choir of Tibetan monks for John Lennon, this performance is astounding, and something I'd never dreamt could be performed live. The Fab Faux are fantastic!

They do a good job of "playing" the squiggly backward tape loops in the original.
