Honestly, I must disagree with the consensus here: I love the depressive orchestral arrangements and I love the clean vocals, but while I am a metalhead and can HANDLE the harsh vocals on principle, I have to say that those heard on this disc are rather subpar in particular. In fact, they're not really screams; they essentially come off as him yelling a whole bunch, and I feel as if it does not add to the emotional weight, but instead, detracts from it. The guy is just not all that good at harsh vocals, as good as he is at singing. Had they foregone the harsh vocals, or at least minimised them, this song, and the album in general, would have been a lot better for it.Still, the mood is, at least, not lost, so it's still a definite win for me.

I hate it when people say lose the screaming and it would be a good tune. Part of what makes this song is the emotion he expresses through his vocals.
