The Edge has done several long blues solos in live concerts whenever he feels like and has gone crazy with playing long and intense blues solos especially for "Bullet the blue sky", but he chooses not to be like every other guitarist and tries to use the guitar to come up with new innovative and experimental sounds no else has ever created. He was ranked #14 in the top 500 greatest guitarists of all times because he can play guitar like everyone else, but most of the other cannot come up with the unique and out of the box sounds he can create. He chooses to be unique and original rather than the cookie-cutter generic so-called guitarists out there who all damn sound the same.
