I hadn't heard they broke up, wondered if I had just lost track of where they were and what they were doing. I liked "Bitchin" less than any of their other albums, the songs just seemed formulaic and kinda corny. Still have mad respect for these girls, and this band though. Saw them on Warp tour 200 or 2001? They put it down live, despite a dickish crowd.

There was an interview years ago when Shatners album outsold theirs and she was asked what she thought about her Uncle's album doing better than theirs.

That's an interesting fact about Shatner being her Uncle. But...there is such a thing....especially within families....of being very very careful about asking for help. Besides, Shatner is probably under some heavy contracts that would be legally required to charge The Donnas Organization a ton of money....Uncle or not...for a cameo appearance. It might be out of his hands entirely. Interesting situation.

Now it's finally come to me: This song is a cross between Joan Jett (obviously) and a now-defunct band I used to really get into in the early 80's call "The Pursuit of Happiness" ("I'm an Adult Now"). Can I get a witness? Awww...you're all probably half my age. haha.
