A lot of the covers on this soundtrack aren't great. But you can always count on TDEP to deliver! Great stuff!

Chuck D is BEAST! Agreeing to rap with Anthrax on their metal cover of P.E.'s Bring the Noise, and now guest appear on the metal cover of Fight the Power. Not many artists like to appear on covers of their own songs.

I think he means it's ironic, because the band who does the cover is the Dillinger Escape Plan, and the original band is called Public Enemy

Actually, Ben Weinman had no idea how to play guitar before Dillinger. I heard him say it in an interview on XM Liquid Metal.

This is math metal, by nature of genre completely revolving around incredibly complicated and seemingly unpredictable rhythms. Once you learn to wrap your head around the motif, it becomes very interesting. Also, it is wise to remember that each musician in the band is classically trained and widely respected in each of their fields. All the dischordenance has its reason.

I'm actually gonna have to agree with the other guy here. this music has no real rhythm to it. it just sounds like they're smashing the instruments and hoping for the best. Vocals could be better, but on that front it's not that bad.
