There is a very obvious melody and tune in this song. Because you cannot look beyond the prejudices you clearly have against this band, you have to reach a pre-determined conclusion. Try opening your mind - I can see you have a penchant for middle of the road coffee table garbage such as Paul Simon's "You Cna Call Me Al", but you really should try and break down the barriers. You life would be so much more enjoyable.

They did and they do. For people like you art fits into a very very narrow definitinon, outside of which you struggle to function. You may not get it. You may not even like it. But please don't dismiss them as talentless - they were brave and prepared to take risks - something rare in modern popular music.
