One of the many reasons why I love The Creatures even more than I do the Banshees. Not perhaps most peoples idea of minimalism but I would argue that that (admittedly totally unnecessary!) categorisation of much of their music is no less appropriate than any other! I keep hearing that there are loads of great new bands out there. Have to say I've yet to hear any of them and I'm bloody positive none of them sound like The Creatures but then who ever did?

The creatures have very minimalistic songs. TThe sound engineering is creative because ofBudgie's interest n rythms and percussion,But The Creatures songs that i have heard ( inveterate Banshee fan that i am) are weak.This song nor many of theothers have any real chorus and the chorus they give us are forgettable.Right now is a wel crafted song( a cover of astandard).The percussion can be fascinating but Siouxsie seems not to be able to comew up with any melody .
