I remember seeing this on TV in the mid-80's and thought it was brilliant. That said, when I got the 'London Calling' LP not long after I was bitterly disappointed with the version of 'Clampdown' they'd seen fit to commit to vinyl. Plodding and lifeless in comparison. This live version outrocks it on every level. Question: Is this clip from 'Rude Boy?' If so, then it's probably safe to assume it's been heavily overdubbed like the other music clips in that film?
