Thanks SUNSHINEandSPIRIT- at least 500 hits are from me. :) Here's why: In the '90's my beloved cat used to come out and lay in front of the speakers whenever Church music played. She LOVED it. I played this song over and over (my fave) & she adored it too. She passed on in July of 2012- on the way to the vet for *humane* euthanasia at 18 years old I played this song for her in the car on the way to the vet. It was the last song she ever heard. Tell others to please do the same for me someday.

Record companies do not 'allow' majority of true artists to just 'BE' is why. Endless artists bring this to our attention daily. Shirley Manson 'Garbage' is a huge advocate for 'real' music i.e. they were lucky to have kept money for many years the band didn't touch from success in 90's to create newest work of art & use to tour. The Church is one of two reasons I personally moved to Australia in mid 90's....'needed' to 'find' them & hear them in person. Now 'thats' dedication, haha.

I've loved this song since it came out. I always suspected this song was about their experiences in America, but it wasn't until Wikipedia that I realized just how autobiographical their songs really are.

when i first heard this song,i didn't 'get' it,then after 6-7 listens it hit me.....been my all-time favourite song for almost 20 years now :o)
