This still does not make him believe the fictional book Celestine Prophecy as being true which is what my original comment and all subsequent comments have been about. Celestine Prophecy is a work of fiction. It is a novel. Its ideas are not even open to a real interpretation on a philosophical level because they are absurd at best. Celestine Prophecy does however fit in with the aesthetics of his interests, much like the FICTIONAL series Star Gate does. Interest doesn't equate to belief.

Because the Celestine Prophecy is a work of fiction that doesn't even pretend to be non fiction. Its ideas are against every observable function of the universe, as well as being a terribly written book with childlike concepts thought up and never questioned on any deeper level to see if they have any logical consistency with anything, let alone other ideas in the book. Writing about a fictional book doesn't mean you believe its content, saying they do would be an absurd accusation to make.

This is a great band and an awesome song, but The Celestine Prophecy was a terrible book full of nonsensical ideas (the opposite of intelligence), and I did read the Tenth Insight too, a worse book in all respects. After reading those I got heavily into rationalism and science and found a real higher consciousness inside by developing in a real and measurable way. I doubt Pagan's Mind take this stuff seriously, but it does work on an aesthetic and fun level.

I mean come on they have a song called Astral Projection(which is where if you are trained and know what your doing your spirit can leave your physical body when ever you choose) These guys know whats up, but does their fan base?

My question is how many Pagan's Mind fans really know what this song and a lot of their material is about? How many have actually read The Celestine Prophecy and are into or even know about Chakras, Kundalini and other Metaphysical stuff. I think sometimes the lyrics and message fall on deaf ears or goes way over their heads and some fans just don't get it. This band is not just amazing musically but very lyrically deep and intelligent, they are beings of higher conciousness for sure.
