I had the unknown opportunity to hear and see this band live in concert in 1986. They were the opening act for simple minds here in houston, tx. I was so impressed their music and lyrics. I did research and came to the conclusion he and quite possibly the band as a whole are Christians or at least had Spiritual foundation. I do now a prominent Christian artist covered this song. Rest in Peace Michael Been, you wrote beautiful and definitely sung like an Angel.

This is amazing.What a revelation! As a child of the 80's, this song has always been built in my mind around the (albeit awesome) Lost Boys vibe, & I've wondered why it always resonated as an otherwise meaningful song...Seriously, I'd never have thought this song would be so awesome without the sax and the... erm... sax. ;-)
