Can you imagine if Elvis Presley covered this track? This was another flip-side to a Box Tops hit. Even their flips were incredible tracks. Some say they were under-rated but they did have a long list of hit singles and one -- "The Letter" is a classic rock song. They were under-rated as far as how much better they were than the majority of their singles. Many tracks on their albums were just jewels like this and does radio play these lost songs? Don't make me laugh -- it's one of the disappointments of my life to know how many great tunes through the decades have been ignored. This song is just waiting to be covered by some great blues artist.
