We had the great pleasure of meeting Paul last night ! , he was a pleasure to talk to ,albeit a short time, I asked him about recording thisBrilliant track and he said he was considering it !! , so here's hoping !!It just made our night ! He was a lovely man to talk to, although he was In a hurry , he made time for my wife to take a photograph with Paul and me !! ,so it went straight on to my Facebook page !!!

Just in case you haven't picked up elsewhere, the solo album is "Mid Air" released on Newsroom Records and sadly this fantastic track didn't appear even on the limited edition version.

I'm slowly but surely getting right pissed off with TBN , why oh why are we being bubjected to extraordinary periods between releases ? I can't stand the anticipation anymore ..it's driving me potty listening to stuff like this knowing that it might be years from now that i get to hear new material . Not played this vid for some time, how remiss.....It is a stunning Blue Nile tune, encompassing everything that is magical about the band and ranks up there amongst the very, very best that Paul Buchanan has written. It definitely sounds like 'Hats' era Blue Nile, which was just about their pinnacle, for me. Another reminder of how spellbinding a seeing them play live was......
