Mit "Burn Piano Island Burn" von The Blood Brothers konnte man früher (aka als das Album neu war) wunderbar Beifahrer im Auto nerven (die waren allerdings in weiten Teilen nicht einmal At the Drive-In-kompatibel, das sagt einiges aus). Die fanden das meistens sauanstrengend und haben nur wenige Minuten des eher kurzen Albums ertragen. Mittlerweile empfinde ich persönlich die Blood Brothers als viel melodischer, damals fand ich die Ausbrüche teils selbst recht fordernd. Heute könnte es mitunter noch etwas chaotischer zugehen (andererseits würde die Musik dann vielleicht auch ihren Reiz verlieren). Ob es den anderen wohl genauso ergehen würde? "Burn Piano Island Burn" ist jedenfalls ein Album das reift. Und eines der besten der Welt sowieso! Und die beste Liveband der Welt sind The Blood Brothers außerdem. Das weiß ich aus eigener Erfahrung.
