I'm playing through FF3 for the ds right now. Overall I like it, though I much prefer 5's job system more. I don't know where I'd rank it overall since I haven't played several of them (and I've only beaten 6 and 7 so far) but I DO like it more than the first two and anything after 8.

Personly graphics could be crappy as shit but games are still good if the story is good the characters are good and the music is good, hell the music could suck and the game could still be good if you have a good story and characters.

@nwbuf I agree, games should be played for the level of fun you can get from it. Good graphics is just a nifty bonus =] I myself prefer good music, storyline and gameplay over good graphics.
