My favorite Beatles song, had the LP since its release. Reading a lot here putting it down- I think many of you are just echoing what you've read and not what's there to be heard: beautiful melodies, gorgeous chords, a dense, rich production, and, if you assign your own meanings to the lyrics they're very evocative. God knows where the negative "meme" on this song originated; it's fucking fantastic.

Estuve leyendo el sonido de los Beatles un libro donde uno de ingenieros de sonido Geoff Emerick cuenta la experiencia de grabar este tema..George segun el libro sentia hasta un poco de verguenza de compeir con Lennon Y Mc Cartney en las composiciones,ya que se veia solo al componer este tema..fue una ironia al la productora Northern ya que en esa epoca se ocupaba en casi todo lo referente a musica en Inglaterra...aunque particularmente me parece ya por la costumbre de escucharla que es muy buena...con el paso de los años se va acomodando..George al final se adelanto y se puso a la par de las composiciones de John y Paul.

drivel done to thumb their nose at their publisher to whom they owed a song , this was cut Feb 13th-20th , 1967 during the Sgt Pepper Sessions ( between "Fixing a Hole" and "For The Benefit of Mr. Kite" )...set aside and forgotten until it turned up on The cartoon 'Yellow Submarine' movie months later.

Probablemente una de sus canciones mas creativas y humanas, a diferencia de otras canciones grabadas en el periodo del Pepper en esta al menos si tocan la mayoria de instrumentos exoticos que se escuchan y no musicos de sesion del todo. Una de sus mejores canciones , fue un error haberla dejado fuera del Peppers siendo esta mejor que algunas de la canciones que a la final si quedaron.

I thought it had something to do with it's being recorded at Northern songs ltd. recording studio Harrison recorded at, Lennon and McCartney didn't think it was worthy enough to be put on Sgt. Pepper's l.h.c.b., they looked down on that label.
