Beautiful harmonies, this one is so underrated gem. One of the best songs from "Beatles For Sale"

Nice harmony in their vocals of Lennon (high ) & Harrison (low) in the verses and Paul (high)....(very high) ¡¡¡ & John (low) harmony .....and George´s beautiful ''contry-western'' lead guitar playing....love that sound of legendary ''vox'' amps and love that George´s play feeling.

I don't want to spoil the party so I'll goI would hate my disappointment to showThere's nothing for me here so I will disappearIf she turns up while I'm gone please let me knowI've had a drink or two and I don't careThere's no fun in what I do if she's not thereI wonder what went wrong I've waited far too longI think I'll take a walk and look for herThough tonight she's made me sadI still love herIf I find her I'll be gladI still love herI don't want to spoil the party so I'll goI would hate my disappointment to showThere's nothing for me here so I will disappearIf she turns up while I'm gone please let me knowThough tonight she's made me sadI still love herIf I find her I'll be gladI still love herThough I've had a drink or two and I don't careThere's no fun in what I do if she's not thereI wonder what went wrong I've waited far too longI think I'll take a walk and look for her

This may be their best expression of Rockabilly, of which they were huge fans. They loved Carl Perkins and covered him ore than any other artist I would not call this "country rock." Rockabilly is a more accurate term IMO.
