The simplicity of this lyric is so early Paul; I'm re-thinking this song's slim magic meaning it has really Paul's easyday groove on it rather than John's stamp. I recant my 1st opinion.

They look so exhausted on the cover - and they were. The year was jam packed with concerts, major tours (France Winter Tour; their initial but short Winter Tour of America; a Spring UK Tour; a Spring/Summer World Tour that included Europe, Australia and a single show in Hong Kong; their first full-fledged American tour - the Summer US & Canada Tour; the Autumn UK Tour; and their UK Christmas Shows in London). AND the filming of A Hard Day's Night. They literally had a single day off only here and there. If you look at their itinerary, the did a concert somewhere in some city or town in some country nearly every day of the year. Oh, and they recorded Beatles For Sale. Slackers.

KC: Then why didn't Paul sing it? Do you know? It is optimistic as you say, so it could definitely be Paul's lyric as it has an incredibly shallow lyric compared to how John would have written it. The amazing thing is that their dual romanticism had a perfect bipolarity effect upon the times: early 60-ties. Young love fails, and young love wins, and young love prevaricates (hesitates)...songs...one after another till the Revolver album. John, Paul and the 2-Georges.

Judson Green...you said everything, boy! Shall I repeat? "I think the greatness in the depth of the Beatles was how it made us feel as soon as we heard them singing and playing. And how it made the whole world smile because we had the 4 lads in our lives".Precisely,I am a fan from the early days so I remember how we used to feel every time I new album would come. Smiling! Sometimes laughing! Happy. We had the beatles in our lives. Nobody cared which was the composer because that was a Beatles song. All of them contributed to this amazing sound. Like in this song...so wonderful for those days. Still sounds great. The combination of their voices... Every little thing they did were so amazing!

This song reminds me of Jet by Paul McCartney for some reasons..

Truly a Lennon song, not McCarthy's. How can you tell? John always wrote in mid-story depicting love as unrequited. It was part of his burning existential nature due to his private remorse and will to fight to express sincere eulogies for love, but he always delays satisfaction and never NEVER makes a conquest in these 3+ dozen songs from '62-66. It is the raison d'etat of the Beatles. There is just one dominant opus at work in the Beatles and it is totally John's deemed works; the others were merely needed to refinish his collection on their way to making them all Beatles music.

The composer in The Beatles a l w a y s sang his song. Lennon sang Every Little Thing, in the album Beatles for Sale, from autumn 1964. The melody is typically Lennon, little falling, and a resolve. It has similarities with Lennon´s No Reply. Of course he composed it. Of some reason Lennon didn´t want to admit that. In those Lennon was very dominant as composer. McCartney has only two compositions in that album. Therefor McCartney saw his chance, and said it was his composition. It´s a lie. Should the competitive McCartney let Lennon sing his song? Never, never, never! The same with Cry Baby Cry. Lennon was ashamed over it, and said he did not do it. The consequence of McCartney´s lie is that some writers begin to think that Lennon sings McCartney´s compositions.

This is not fluff. It was strange and melodically innovative for it's time.

По версии журнала Rolling Stone «Every Little Thing» - №91 из всех композиций #Thebeatles.#битлз #beatles #beatlesmania
