Hi, I just experiment a little with amp settings until I like the way it sounds and that about sums it up. I try to get a sound that I am happy with and then I go with it.

Buddy I do have one question that I hope you can help me with....You seem to have replicated the actual sounds...or settings on the amp for each song....the only example I can think of is that I recently saw a video you did with a Rick..six string....for a beatles song....it seemed to me that you had the actual sound effect down pat....How do I do that? I have a Line 6 Spider Four and a Vox 15 watt tubed amp. Do you just experiment as you go?

Thanks! I like certain things about all of my guitars. I would like to pick up a Gretsch myself eventually,.. but it is hard to justify more guitars when I barely get time to play the ones I already have. Maybe after retirement I can spend more time learning/playing music.

I have enjoyed your videos for about a year now...I have a Rick 360/12, Gretsch Country Gentleman, Epiphone Casino and a Fender Strat...lol...and play at home in my office....am picking up some great tips from you...so please keep them coming....Love your collection of guitars....Looks like you have a number of guitars used by the big groups in the 60's....Are the Ric's your favorite?
