True observation by Carl. Sensitive people bruise easily. Brian certainly has a lot of bruises to show for it but is actually a pretty tough individual. Today he is writing and performing and just cut a new and very successful album.

I was at that concert. He had terrible laryngitis and gave up on "In My Room". Plus I guess he was somewhat, uh, . . . . .

Don't know what year this was. Landy was originally hired in 75 and lasted about a year. He was rehired in 83 and basically controlled Brian's life (and damaged his brain) until 91.

This video breaks my heart. Brian appears to be so uncomfortable in his own skin. His beautiful eyes darting all around. This must have taken place when he was in a deep, dark place. But even still, the man was sweet and humble and remains so to this day. And, Carl...what a sweet man and caring brother he was. The Wilson brothers had such a deep and abiding love for one another. I wish Carl and Dennis were still here. Thank you God for allowing us to still have Brian Wilson to love and admire.

isn't there something depressing about the fact someone who transmuted so much beauty and positivity into something we could share had to face so many demons for so long a lifetime? he just didn't deserve that sort of shit man. not at all.

in the early years he was, but a majority of what "he wrote" i think he just claimed it and i seriously doubt it. he is just a asshole, whether you like it or not
