Somebody mentioned the Johnny Depp movie about Thompson but there is a MUCH better version starring Bill Murray called "Where the Buffalo Roam". Of course it's much older and a LOT more twisted....so much the better.

The vocals remind me a little of Elton when he was in his Western phase--Tumbleweed Connection, etc Texan love song, Brown Dirt Cowboy, etc.....I like it.

I enjoy these guys allot... I wish they would go for it and add some pop hits (using their style) and make it big. They deserve to get paid big. Good grooves haven't work since the 70's.... Pre-Chorus, Chorus, Chorus, Chorus, Chorus, Chorus, Solo, Chorus..... Lol

Seriously? These guys rock man, i will say I'm very disappointed in the loss of Colin Brooks. I know the fan base in my area was not as impressed with the show that came to town recently. Bring Colin back BOH!

Very mediocre band, this is actually their best song. Also, if anyone else has hung out with these guys, you'd know they're condescending d-bags who sing with annoying, fake voices and won't a play a guitar that costs less than $2000.

is this the best that acl can get? wow,remember when having a computer meant you were smart?now i have to put up with half-wits comments on a band they happened upon by accident in between porn..must have taken you forever to post that comment with one hand. these guys don`t measure up to whatever frank stallone wanna be does the background music for what you usually watch. it`s ok ,.i`m sure as porn continues to grow the background you listen to will get better simply by osmosis......good luck!

Not bursting MY bubble dear. I didnt say "American" I said Americana music. I know about every thing there is to know about the Band as I am an AVID fan. Yes all Canadian except for Levon, aka Lavon, from Arkansaw. They had such a sound man, nothing like anyone else. Miss them for sure.

Hell yeah, good to see people still listen to The Band. Suck that levon died recently, he was a great musician. If you haven't seen the movie The Last Waltz, I highly recommend it. It's about The Band's last concert and has a crap ton of great bands in it.
