I wasn't talking about that part of his statement. I was talking about the stupid statement that was "the only song in Robbie Robertson's life that he played a les paul on he's never touched one since then" Never touched one since? I want to see a source of such a claim, because almost no one could really know such a thing. I wasn't fighting if he played a les paul on this track or not.

What I meant was, his speculation was correct and Robbie did play a Gibson on this song. Just search for "The Last Waltz Acadian Driftwood". It's a black and white video on vimeo. Pretty sad that they cut it from the film...
