What a tribute. The Allmans stole Statesboro' Blues from the first Columbia Taj Mahal album. They stole it hook line and sinker, right down to the arrangement! By the way, the original features Ry Cooder on slide. In fact the first Taj Mahal album IS A MONSTER!

Taj can act how ever he wants, he is easily one of the most in-fucking-credible singers I've ever heard and is a hell of a stage performer to boot. Don't diss the man, have you ever seen anyone make Warren smile that big while they were singing?
