thought it was two motorcycles and was gonna fuck with the dudes riding between them coming the other way cause he did it before and it wasnt two bikes''? a myth? what I heard'?dude from jacksonville used to run around statesville,macon.valdosta. right there.and party a little . so I know how stories get started but this dude wasnt one to bullshit and he knew alot of influential people and didnt talk shit', not saying anything wrong with how either unfortunitely died,just a interesting story.and im into music a little more then a average person being raised in cleveland back in the real days 70s., thanks no disrespect or offence meant to anybody,noke cleveland.

I don't want to boast or deny anyone of there opinions. My brother Grayson lived for a while with them out in Elbert Ga outside of Macon off Hwy 49 . He died of a diving accident just after Berry did. Shortly after that my father and my 2 oldest brothers made there driveway to what they called the Hunting Lodge.I don't know how many of you really know there story but it was very close to our family. They were and still are on of the most famous bands in the world. Even in Europe and Russia Thanks for all your support Chris Lee

I hear you. I guess my point is for us youngens who werent around back then, its pretty damn close. Much better than seeing Further for example, and expecting it to sound like a Dead show from '77. Or seeing a Rolling Stones show and expecting them to sound as good. Obviously they arent as good as they were in their prime, but ABB are one of the few bands from that era that still "got it"

Not taking any thing away from Derek & Warren. I hate to burst your bubble but seeing the ABB in 2013 ain't nothing like seeing the ABB with Duane & Berry in 1969-71. I know I was there several times !

I went to a concert to see these guys at Florida State U. in 1970. They were the opening group that night for Frank Zappa (!). Obviously they were just starting to break out at the time. One of my all-time favorite groups and albums.
