Thanks for posting, my album wore out year ago, Time long overdue to replace it. The group never did get the recognition they deserve.. now with Youtube a few more people will hear them, live they were fantastic performers...

I paid $.87 for this album in 1971. Great album, grossly unrated. Every album cut was great. (OK, maybe one or two were only "very good"). THE ALAN BOWN was released in 1968 on MUSIC FACTORY and later reissued on VERVE FORECAST. Now it needs to be reissued on CD.

I've had this album since it first came out in 1968. They were one of the first rock bands to employ a lot of horns in their arrangements. They were special. All Along the Watchtower is fantastic!
