Eric Peterson is pretty damn good as well. Kirk Hammet has for some reason lost respect over the years. If you listen to Master of Puppets, or ride the lightening from way back in the day you will hear some extremely bad ass solo's. I do agree that Alex Skolnick is really fucking good.
