Just proves how great the original was. Nowhere near as much power, soul, dynamics, rockin as the Heep.

I lost it when the band came in... should of kept just it bass guitar and vocals .. now that would of been sweet and different!!! but Im not the producer for what goes out..lol

Very cool. I like guitar, its a cool twist on what would be the keyboard. It adds a nice groove to the song!

in my opinion, it makes no sense when you do a cover version of a great song note by note. it is very clear, that people prefer the original

I dunno... I think Mister Keith's voice was perfect for this song. On paper, that is. For some reason this TESLA version just didn't work for me. I dont know why...

Compared to the original ...this is just weak. David Byron made this song come alive - this version puts me asleep . Sorry. Truth hurts eh ?

@ dlew716.....you my friend need to seriously get a music education..... I suggest you start with Mechanical Resonance (1986 - U.S platinum), then The Great Radio Controversy (1989 - 2x Multi Platinum, Canada - GOLD),5 man acoustical Jam (1990), Psychotic Supper (1991) Bust a Nut (1994-US: Gold), Into the Now (2004),Reel to Real (2007),Forever More (2010) THEN perhaps you are equipped to comment, either that or just carry on listening to Avril Lavine.

@WVFreebyrd I am a huge fan of theirs and I couldn't agree more with you. when its good its good. i've always thought Frank Hannon and (when he was still with the band) Tommy Skeoch were two of the most underrated guitarists in rock music. And quite Honestly I don't think Tesla has ever put out a bad album....Even their live album is like catching lightning in a bottle...pun intended

@whiteboy1815 Agree. Most, if not all, of the other cover/tribute albums put out by bands were simply novel, curiousity items. Interesting and fun but really not great musically. Tesla's "Real to Reel" is totally different. They stayed so true to the originals and the musicianship was unbelievable. I'm not a huge Tesla fan but this was an absolutely great album/CD.

Sounds good but it does lose a little bit of the soul of the original without the keyboard.

Awesome cover. The whole Reel to Real album is incredible.
