Amazing! Like others said, I thought this was originally sung by Elvis. But, I noticed on the Elvis versions that he didn't have that soft cooing "ooooo oooooo" like on the Terry Stafford original and that cool organ sound. With that said, I think I enjoy the original by Terry more. The originals are usually the best with some rare exceptions. Terry Stafford, The Blonde Elvis!!!

The bottom line is Stafford's version sounds like HE is living and expressing the experience of the lyrics. Elvis is trying with his version to impress with little soul. (forgive me Elvis fans) Wish Roy Orbison gave it a go. We would all agree then.
