This was/is such a fun song. Everyone loved Teresa when I was in school, had no idea she was 10 years older than I.

Those days on the farm there was no TV or movies. Just radio and this young boy fell in love with a young singer named Teresa. I'll never forget her.

I am only 40 years old and I have to say that Teresa Brewer is one of my favorite female singers of all time. She has that special "twinkle", and special something in her voice that noone has. Plus the songs that she sung were Great!!! Thanks Teresa!!! And Thanks For Posting!!

The first song I can remember hearing on the wireless was Teresa Brewer's "Music Music Music", so that was probably in 1950, as I remember where I heard it, and we didn't move there till then. She didn't have many hits here in the UK, and that's hard to understand, as the hits she did have were so very good. This was one of the many that, alas, didn't make it here, and should have done. Nice to hear it for the first time, at last !

Makes me think of a 1950s "Mad" magazine satire of people going to a Chinese restaurant. The dad plays "peek-a-boo" with a little girl in the next booth who then surprises him by bashing him in the head with the small, on-table jukebox from her booth. When it hits the man's head, it's blaring the words to this song: "I don't wanna ricochet romance..."

Ricochet (Rick-O-Shay) - Brewer, Theresa [Toledo, Ohio] - "The best-known version was recorded by Teresa Brewer on July 10, 1953...peaking at #2 on the Billboard charts in 1953. The flip side was Too Young to Tango." - Music! Music! Music!: - The Best Of Teresa Brewer (Verese Sarabande)-1995.

I randomly heard this song while going through the local AM stations to find Coast To Coast AM. Definitely enjoyed it enough to come find it. This coming from a 24 year old guy who loves metalcore and punk. Weird how that works out..
